What a type does
A type sits under a category. For example, Technology can contain Laptop, Server, Printer, and Network Equipment. Types make records more specific without forcing users to create a separate system for every item.
How PyneTrack uses them
When a user creates an inventory item or asset, the category/type selection becomes part of the record. That makes the item easier to search, review, export, and explain later.
